Reach Out on Survivors of Suicide Loss Day

You are not alone. Join a community of suicide loss survivors to find comfort and gain understanding as we share stories of healing and hope.

International Survivors of Suicide Loss Day is the one day a year when people who are affected by suicide loss gather around the world at events in their local communities for support and resources.

Saturday, November 17, 11:30am to 2:00pm
Event Location: Lorain County Community College, 1005 North Abbe Rd Spitzer Conference Center SR117, Elyria, Ohio 44035

The event features a screening of A Daughter’s Journey, an AFSP—produced documentary that follows Sarah, a young adult, through her story of milestones, family, coping and positive growth after the loss of her father. This year’s film shares hope, connection and resilience in the aftermath of a suicide loss.

The Lorain County Board of Mental Health is a sponsor and supporter of this event.
